Faith Lutheran Tyler was founded in 2016 and began work to reach out to the residents of the Tyler, TX Community. With an emphasis on the word of God, relevant preaching, and outreach, Faith Church has grown in size but our core beliefs haven't changed a bit. We remain focused on our mission “to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.” The only way this can be accomplished is through growing in our understanding of Jesus through His Word, the Bible.

Faith Lutheran Tyler worships the Triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We accept the Bible as God’s inspired and errorless word. It is the only source of truth for life and for eternity.

Faith Lutheran Tyler is dedicated to preaching the truth, that God has prepared a way to save sinners from eternal damnation by sending His Son, Jesus Christ. By Jesus’ perfect life and innocent death, the sins of all people have been paid for in full. Jesus’ resurrection is proof of this! Whoever believes (trusts) in Jesus has the forgiveness of sins, possesses eternal life now, and has a certain future with Jesus in Heaven. Believers in Jesus have been given the new life of faith by which they offer their lives in service to the Lord and all people.

Followers of Christ See The True Purpose of His Power

In all that we do—whether we eat, drink, or carry out the simplest tasks—God calls us to do it for His glory and with others' salvation in mind. This may seem like a tall order, but we can live this way because of the glory Christ revealed on the cross. Jesus did not seek His glory for Himself. Instead, He laid down His life so that we might be saved. As we follow Him, we seek to reflect that same selfless love in our actions, so that others might come to know His grace.  In this God is glorified.
