Faith Lutheran Tyler was founded in 2016 and began work to reach out to the residents of the Tyler, TX Community. With an emphasis on the word of God, relevant preaching, and outreach, Faith Church has grown in size but our core beliefs haven't changed a bit. We remain focused on our mission “to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.” The only way this can be accomplished is through growing in our understanding of Jesus through His Word, the Bible.
Faith Lutheran Tyler worships the Triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We accept the Bible as God’s inspired and errorless word. It is the only source of truth for life and for eternity.
Faith Lutheran Tyler is dedicated to preaching the truth, that God has prepared a way to save sinners from eternal damnation by sending His Son, Jesus Christ. By Jesus’ perfect life and innocent death, the sins of all people have been paid for in full. Jesus’ resurrection is proof of this! Whoever believes (trusts) in Jesus has the forgiveness of sins, possesses eternal life now, and has a certain future with Jesus in Heaven. Believers in Jesus have been given the new life of faith by which they offer their lives in service to the Lord and all people.

EPIPHANY MOMENTS
It is easy for us to assume that if God says “no” to a request, we are getting less than we wanted. Weneed to have an epiphany moment, seeing the reality—that God always wants more for us than wewant from him. Saying “yes” to all our requests would often result in us receiving less joy, less blessing, alesser life. So, when God says “no” to our request, we can be assured it is because he wants to give usmore. Far more than existing as a “help desk” or 911 dispatch, God’s love for us is like that of a groomfor his bride. His love for us exceeds all expectation and understanding. In that love, God always deliversmore than we ask, not less.
