Faith Church was founded in 2016 and began work to reach out to the residents of the Tyler, TX Community. With an emphasis on the word of God, relevant preaching, and outreach, Faith Church has grown in size but our core beliefs haven't changed a bit. We remain focused on our mission “to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.” The only way this can be accomplished is through growing in our understanding of Jesus through His Word, the Bible.
Faith Church worships the Triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We accept the Bible as God’s inspired and errorless word. It is the only source of truth for life and for eternity.
Faith Church is dedicated to preaching the truth, that God has prepared a way to save sinners from eternal damnation by sending His Son, Jesus Christ. By Jesus’ perfect life and innocent death, the sins of all people have been paid for in full. Jesus’ resurrection is proof of this! Whoever believes (trusts) in Jesus has the forgiveness of sins, possesses eternal life now, and has a certain future with Jesus in Heaven. Believers in Jesus have been given the new life of faith by which they offer their lives in service to the Lord and all people.
The season of Advent always begins with the end in mind, It is necessary because it prepares us for Christmas. It enables us to understand the true significance of Christmas. For Advent allows us to see that because of what Christ did when he came the first time, believers need not fear when he comes again. Instead, we yearn for it. "Come, Lord Jesus!"
