I was raised in the Dallas area.  I attended high school in Irving and then completed my college at East Texas State University in Commerce where I met and married my wife, Vickie.  We started attending Faith Church in October 2017 after looking for a church after our move to Mixon Texas. 

We had been searching for a church to attend for 9 months, visited several churches in the area.  One Sunday after visiting a church,  we were driving to Tyler to see my mom and we drove past Faith.  We decided to attend that next Sunday.  We never left.

I am in charge of keeping the building and grounds at Faith.  If you visit us or a member and you see something that needs attention please contact me at jamtndll@hotmail.com. 

My favorite verse is James 1:2-4; 2) Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3) because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4) Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
